What to look for in Relationships




Being able to talk about your feelings.

Believing one sex has more rights than the other.

Dominating and controlling your dateís friends and activities.

Respecting your date, their friends and activities.

Shouting and yelling when youíre angry.

Name calling and put downs.

Considering the other personís feelings and property.

Using the silent treatment.

Threatening harm or by hitting or destroying

Respecting the differences in other people

Pestering your date until you get what you want.

Being overly jealous and possessive.

Being able to state  differences of opinions.

Pouting to get what you want.

Pushing, hitting, holding your date against his/her will.

Having an equal say in the relationship.


Forcing unwanted sex or touching.
